I'm Transforming...and I love it!

I feel SO energized!  I’ve always been someone that when I have my mind made up, there’s little that can be done to change it.  Suffice it to say, that has cost me relationships, opportunities, and if I’m totally honest – position.  As I move forward in my journey, I don’t think I’ve ever felt like I do in this moment/today, which is that this year has truly been a year of discovery, opportunity, and belief.  I’ve discovered my voice.  I’ve found my path to share it.  This path has provided an opportunity to develop, position, and polish…and throughout this preparation – in my heart I believe in it and me.

A lot is moving and shaking in my life, and it’s both exciting and scary.  I’m getting myself equipped for the transformation into my new roles I’m carving out for myself.  At the same time, I'm nurturing my existing roles and most important relationships with God, my husband, and my daughter.

It’s no coincidence that this blog post comes during this time of year.  Thanksgiving is always a time to reflect on the many things we are grateful/thankful for…and with that, here are a few of mine:
  • An unshakable belief in me.

  • A supportive partner who has my back.

  • THEE cutest 7 year old!

  • My blog.

  • My nutritionist.

  • The blog chat (#CatInTheHatPBS #gno) I participated in last night, hosted by Mom-It-Forward and sponsored by PBS Kids.  A blogger, JYL Johnson Pattee, shared her cookie trade tradition - which I plan to start myself this year ;-)

  • Placement of women in my life who have been a model for me as I transform...check-out my SWAV series regularly to find out the names of a few of these women.
How about youI’d love to hear what you’re thankful for this year.  Please share in a comment below.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!

  1. I am thankful for my family, health, home and my job. There are so many people struggling these days with our current economic state and it is discerning on where we will end up. Jobs are becoming less available and people have to think of new ways to survive. I am thankful that each day I get to get up and have a place to go and know I have purpose. I am so blessed and I can't ask for more than that.

When those closet to me need something, I step back and think for a moment when I was in that position too. I loved your post and how energetic you are. I appreciate the follow on Twitter and reading more of your posts.
