Steps Into Fall - Week 2


Week 2 for my Walktober Workplace Challenge went pretty well.  I feel like it's becoming a habit as I'm beginning to plan in my walks as part of my schedule.  I think that's a great sign!  I only missed one night due to an impromptu costume emergency for my daughter…she needed to have one for her speech. 

Anyway, although I haven't successfully walked every day of the month to date, I'm walking more frequently.  I've noticed my body changing a little as well.  Although I cannot contribute it directly with walking, I've shed 3 lbs.  Walking has also gotten me to drink more water.  So, all in all, the plan is working in terms of my wellness and I'm feeling good about it.

In addition to the steps, I completed a few healthy tasks: 1) catch-up with a friend, 2) take time to enjoy the fresh outdoor air, and 3) bring lunch to work.

Here's what I accomplished:
10/8 - 10/14:
