Steps Into Fall - Week 1

I wasn't sure how I was going to share information in terms of my progress during my Walktober Workplace Challenge.  I decided to keep it simple and just list it.  You'll notice that I had a slow start, but finished my 1st week strong.  

Between traveling out of state on a train for 6 hours and it raining the next day (all day), there were a few days I was completely thrown off.  But I'm not going to let it discourage me.  Nope!  Monday I picked right back up and started again…including extending my walking time to make up for the days I missed.  In addition to the steps, I completed a few healthy tasks for the day: 1) take elevator all day, 2) unplug 30 minutes before bed, and 3) eat a balanced breakfast.

Here's what I accomplished:
  • Week 1 Day 1 (W1D1) - 20 m
  • W1D2 - 20 m
  • W1D3 - n/a
  • W1D4 - n/a
  • W1D5 - n/a
  • W1D6 - 35 m
  • W1D7 - 35 m

Oh, I did get feedback on a walking app, so I selected and downloaded MapMyWalk.  I'm trying it out and at some point share my steps.  Wish me luck!
